Christmas Goose
I'm easing back into a few more holiday shots because, you know, the holidays won't last forever. But I'm still on the monochrome train. The Crown and Goose pub in the Old City is looking mighty festive these days, although the black and white gives it a bit of an Alfred Hitchcock twist.

I think it looks wonderful in b&w! Merry Christmas if I don't see you before then!
Your title made me laugh. Will they serve it for the season you think? :D
Gosh, I've never even seen a goose!
You're right about the Alfred Hitchcock look on this photo, but it is a great picture and quite festive in black and white.
Oh yes, the Christmas clock is a ticking and we have just a few more days to cram in the last great photos, then what? We don't have snow down here. What am I going to photograph, dead grass and flowerbeds full of leaves that the yard guy refuses to blow out??? Well I love your Crown and Goose any season. Nice in BW. Good call and stay on that train.

It does look Hitchcock-ish (I've been looking for him in your photo, but can't see him...!) Tonight I am going to watch a b/w film "It's a Wonderful Life," which is always a treat.
Good Morning, Is it as cold in Knoxville this morning as it is in Crossville??? We had a whopping FIVE degrees early this morning. Brrrr..
I'm enjoying your pictures. It does have an Alfred Hitchcock twist, doesn't it????
BUT--like you said, we don't have too much longer to 'feature' all of our holiday shots.

Tanya - thanks! I'm still thinking about your family photo today - it brightened up my day!
Hilda - ya never know. I've never eaten roast goose, and it's not on the C&G menu either.
George - thanks! have you been downtown to see the lights?
V - dead leaves? think arty-farty and show us something good.
Bibi - oh I so love when Clarence asks for mulled wine and gets a dirty look from the bartender!
Betsy - it's always colder up on the plateau, but we came close with eleven degrees this morning. stay warm!
Black and white is always a great look. The holidays will soon be over :(
You bet it does. I wouldn't turn my back on the bartender in this place.
Is there a pint waiting for in there for me, or am I too late. Sudddenly very busy this week. Monocorme geese are quite creepy
