I Am a Camera

All right, I'm ready to stop the humbuggery and post a holiday snap or two. Unfortunately, the ones I just took are still sitting all cozy and pixilated in my camera, so until I can get them downloaded, I'm digging out some from last year's archive.
And to start it off, here's a self portrait from a cooperative ornament on last year's tree in the Krutch Park extention downtown. You can see Gay Street in the background. Yes, I am so photogenic, as long as I have that Fuji in front of my face.

Thanks, Hilda!
Virg, this one's for you. No Time Out like the present, oui?

Lovely, now I can pick you out of the crowd when I see you on Gay Street.

I love this shot!

I have a similar one that I took last year (http://sandiego-dailyphoto.blogspot.com/2007/12/merry-christmas.html) but I think yours is better.

Enjoying the photos!

Love the coat with the cuffs & the hat! but the gold really caught my eye on CDP thumbnails.

P.S. I was still thinking about the Cal Johnson Building this morning - made quite an impression on me. Wouldn't Oprah want to restore a historically important building like that?

I have escaped the sin bin to comment. You have my cap on. Cool shot Miss Knoxville. Did you purposely use humbuggery and Gay St in this post together.

B, 'twas not my intent when I wrote it, but in retrospect I see I just can't fly under th UK radar.
Tash, I wonder if anyone locally pursued the Oprah track, it's an interesting suggestion.
V, I am just discovering the world of silly of self-portraits. Took some last night too, but they're still in the camera.
Thanks to you all for your comments, I'm starting to get into the holiday spirit at last!

I love this! You look awfully festive in that little ball, Ms. Humbug!

I'm feeling less and less festive as I realize how far behind I am in my shopping. Ugh.

The camera is a photographer's best disguise. I vary rarely turn up in family photos because I'm always the one taking them. You found a way to feature yourself very creatively.
