Changing Its Spots
I shortcut down this alley a lot when I'm in a hurry. It's dirty and smells kind of funky, and the pigeons perch up on the old fire escape, rustling their feathers and pooping on the groundlings. But some days when the light reflects off the windows above to create leopard spots of sunlight, some days it's beautiful.

For an alley it doesnt look that bad. Better than most I am sure. Thats not to say I would want to walk down it after dark.
At least it's not littered. The lights do seem to be dancing.
You've got that photographer's eye for light. Great capture, and not a bad alley. UGH pigeons.
I love alleys, a photographer's friend and also some unsavoury people's freind aswell. Mot sure what that's says about photographers actually. I love doing alleys in black and white, you get such a contrast. Great shot.
Nice photo and a nice thought. I suspect even hell has its good days.
It looks quiet. Nice
I can imagine the funky scene, but today it looks like a lovely shortcut and the camera never lies!
For all you've said in words, your picture makes it look like a glamorous path.
Love the polka-dots. MB
You see beauty in it and that makes it beautiful. I see it, too, because you see it.
