Concessions

I'm making concessions this summer. For the long holiday weekend, I'm staying at home and finding amusing things to do around Knoxville. Like perhaps going to some free live music concerts. Or perhaps making a big bowl of macaroni salad and having a picnic in a local park. Maybe watching the fireworks show Friday night. Or maybe after saving the eleven gazillion dollars in gas that I'll save by staying close to home, I'll blow it all on a large popcorn and a drink at the movies.
What are your plans for the weekend?

Hope you get some good photos of the fireworks to show us.

The picture makes me think of Neville Chamberlain. (Obscure joke. Sorry.)

On Friday, I'm going to shoot the big Fourth of July parade in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where my family migrated when we left NYC. My younger sister still lives there. They have huge fireworks tomorrow night. Early Saturday morning into that little island where I was born to meet Ming the Merciless for a Manhattan photo extravaganza.

Staying around town here also. Just to darn expensive to make a drive. I like the pic and the tie in to your post, clever.

I'll be waiting for those live music pics. I will be photographing the wildlife, otherwise nown as the locals. Hopefully them plied with enough boooze during Ramsey Week to lighten up and me with the right amount of booze to stand up and hold the camera straight. might have alot of kerb shots!
