Pinwheel

The forsythia bushes are in bloom along the river at Sequoyah Park. I used my supermacro lens to capture one of the cheerful blooms.

Brings back memories of my youth in the Midwest. We had thousands of these on our street. Such impressive memories of their color. You were pretty sure winter was over when the Forsythia was in bloom.

Excellent close up. We have some of these in a vase in our lounge. Our neighbour has a bush in their garden so I relieved them of a few stems!
