Soaring

These cloud formations just don't quit! We're looking south through the trees of Krutch Park. The sunset colors are reflected on this massive cloud by the Holston Building. I've shown this view before by moonlight. The bird swooping by is a grackle. They are migrating through town by the hundreds right now.

To see more beautiful skies, migrate on over to Sky Watch. It will lift your spirits.

There is little that inspires awe more than a towering cumulus. Maybe a sea under pressure from an off-shore low will do it too. This is really a joy to look at.

belle photo pour le thème du vendredi, surtout avec le vol de l'oiseau, bien vu.

beautiful photo to the theme of Friday, especially with the flight of birds, though seen.

The clouds look like they are forming from the ground up.

Cool cloud shot, neighbor. BTW - yesterday I clicked on your link several times and it didn't work. I had to click through some one else's blog when I saw your name.

Great colors in this. And how cool that the little bird flew through, bonus!

Happy SWF :)

Way cool pictures today and yesterday. The clouds do look like amorphous mountains, not quite real, so far away you could never actually reach them.

I have serious cloud envy now. We are dry as a bone.

OK I'm having words with you and Marley. He's raising the bar on reflections and you've captured my trademark sneaky bird in flight. That cloud looks volcanic. Gorgeous shot.
Have jd for a job well done.

You caught the sunset beautifully. I also tried to come from Sky Watch on Friday, did not work. Probably a type-o.
