Rainy Night in Knoxville

Cold November rain has descended on the city. But rain can make things beautiful. Here's an archive shot of the Tennessee Theatre to prove my point. No, I wasn't out wandering about in the rain last night - I was at work.

Great photo. The black and white adds to its feeling of wet winter.

Ms. Knox, I tip my hat. This is an exquisite night shot! Wow, look at that shiny wet street with the reflected light. I'm looking forward to the rainy season here so I can play around with night shots after a rain.

I LOVE this!

Laurie tipped her hat and I'm taking mine off to ya. is is a classic Noir shot. I can see Veronica Lake lighting up on that street corner. Rain on pavements/ Sidewalks I love it cast a whole other dimension. This has to be one of my all time favs of yours. You nailed it.

It looks like it could have been Monday. Makes me cold thinking about how cold that rain was Monday. The wet streets did make a nice photo.

Thanks, everyone. Yes, it was pretty nasty outside on Monday - made me glad to be inside, even if it was at work.I think this is from early February or March 08, which was still pretty cold.
Film noir. Y'all crack me up.
