Monet's Sun

Not a water lily in sight, but I think Mead's Quarry gives Giverny a pretty good run for its money in this shot.

I am impressed by your impressionist image. It does recall a particular Monet which I need to hunt through the books for now. It's one of those images that cold be viewed from any angle and still look fab. I know i have been turning the laptop around to view.

Now you got me looking up stuff online - the moon is full on Saturday. Hope it's clear and I can figure out how to shoot it right.

Lovely reflection. The water looks so still.

I don't visit for 4 days and you post spectacular images. Serves me right.
Today's is really an impressionistic vision. & wish I lived close enough to try the amazing Ijams views hike.

This is beautiful, and indeed very reminiscent of Giverny.
