Framework

I showed you the facade of this building on Jackson Avenue a week ago. Here's the inside ... which is now really part of the great outdoors. Skeletal remains call out for a forensic architect.

Oh, I like all the lines and the pattern. Love the photo!

It's airy if nothing else! Looks perfect in B&W...love the view of the steeple in the background!

I really like this one! The grid is broken up by that diagonal line -- and the steeple (?) turret thing beyond gives us reason to look out. Lovely shot. Great in monochrome, too.

I am glad you showed some of the inside of this building/structure. The chain is still as entrancing but it is the grid that is eye catching and now we get to see more of the second dimension.

That back wall is a worry. It looks like it is packed up against the side of the cliff. There must be extensive creeping damp throughout it which would need to be addressed prior to the building being renovated in any way.

Julie has the eagle eye. I always let her catch the details I miss! I just really like this one and I can't really say why exactly. There's something about the steeple and the ironwork together that makes it look like it might have been taken in Europe. Like I said, I like it but can't find the right words!

I see a photographic style emerging. It's akin to the moon through the grid skywatch shot you took(I may be hot toddifed pissed but I have a photographic memomory for images) the other week. It's actually very 3d and I agree with Virginia, Eurpoean. I'll name the city as Berlin circa early 60's checckpoint charlie.
