Danger Is My Business

The weather's supposed to warm up this weekend, so I can go and do this again. "This" would be walking and taking photos of my fellow walkers. No, I'm not in a penal colony, don't let the barbed wire fool you. I'm at Lakeshore Park on the 2 mile trail - look, only 1.5 more miles to go! A small golf driving range is on the other side of the barbed wire fence, to which I can infer that golf must be a dangerous sport.

Walking is good and I need to do more of it after my collapsed lung episodes this past December. I still have problems breathing but I can try and am now able to walk from one end of our house to the other. The sad thing is that we have a 13-mile long bike and walking trail that passes right through our town and I may not be able to use it this summer.

I like your photo a lot and the little dog reminded me that they have to take many steps to equal one human step so they walk two or three times as much as the one holding the leash.

I did think it was a Prison exercise yard, but the dogs told me otherwise. Golfers, just trying to keep us riff raff out.

I like this shot, and I like to walk. But from the way the barbed wire is leaning into the golf course, would that be to keep the golfers IN, rather than the walkers out? Just wondering about the slant.
