This is a detail of the iron and glass front door of the restored office and showroom of the Candoro Marble Works building. I originally took the photo because I liked the roughness of the rust, the remnants of old paint, and the pitted doorknob. But then I saw the instructions - I love a door with instructions - and knew that if I could open the door, then the Force must be with me.

Thanks for your visit to my blog Brookville Daily Photo this morning. I hope you enjoyed my post today showing the honey bee and the hollyhock flower.
I saw a special last night about the disappearance of honey bees and it is sad to think that most of the fruit, nuts and vegetables we eat would disappear with them. So governments are busy trying to find the culprit before it is too late and one huge problem is the use of insecticides.
Anyway, I wanted you to know I was here to repay your visit and comment with one of my own. Kind of like "Kilroy" was here... remember those drawings everyone used to make?
I enjoyed reading your blog post for today and I thought the photography was good too. I love old locks. I remember when every house in every town had locks on their doors alike and all took what was called "Skeleton Keys" and you could buy keys at any 5 and dime store for five cents made out of pewter.
That means anybody could unlock anybodys house anywhere in Ohio. I know you could also unlock doors with a paper clip and a piece of bent wire. Those were the good old days.
If you saw a field of clover in bloom then you should have photographed it as it will not be there next year. If it isn't pollinated by bees it will die out. I used to have a lot of white Dutch clover for honey bees and rabbits to eat and am down to a dew stray patches I try to pollinate with a small piece of feather or a soft brush. It works. I still bot clover but not much.
I have a little tiny rabbit who eats it and is thankful.
Did you try to pull? I like the old doors. They always have a personality.
You would need a door with instrcutions for some of the ididts here. Well spotted and May the force be with you
Tee-hee-hee! 8^D Plus, any advice to trend to the left can only improve a situation. I mean, I'm just sayin'...
