Lunacy
I am under the spell of the full moon, which compels me to post another lunar photo. Here it rides high, cushioned by clouds, on a collision course with the Holston building.
Skywatch, skywatch, skywatch! The Louis the mad cow is quite right. I took one liked this, called it the killing moon. Not lunavy at all to shoot the moon. Brilliant shot. Night exposure can be so tricky, but you nailed this.
The two photos stacked one atop the other make an effective diptych. Great balance with the beautiful light on the bottom photo, building in shadow. Just the opposite with this photo where the moon illuminates the side of the forshortened building and the sky, dark and large. Nice tension between the two, elegant. Hello to Petrea above me. Just like the Brady Bunch!

Wonderful photo!! So many great elements add to it - the highlighted building, the tree branch and those clouds...
This one turned out great. The clouds make it a bit eery looking.
So eerily beautiful!
Moonhowling atmosphere. Excellent!
I can't figure out how to take good night photos...this one is beautiful.

It does look like a scene from a werewolf movie.
Both this and your previous post would be excellent candidates for the Sky Watch Friday meme!
Over at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, we see Visions of Hell!
That is really spooky looking. An October moon.
Yes we had a few nice days and now it is raining today and will continue for a few more. Not good. MB

Gorgeous photo! Happy WW! :)
Wow, that's a magnificent shot. It's like a medieval painting. Beautiful.

I like your analysis, Palm. Or should I say, Marsha Marsha Marsha!
