Jeweltones
Autumn is coming on strong. Leaves are just beginning to turn red or yellow, chlorophyll says goodbye for now. The last of the jewelweed blooms by the creek on the greenway.

Never heard of jewelweed, but it's beautiful. Love those colors!
I had some of these pop up around the pond. They're pretty :)
Jewelweed! What on earth, or in the earth is Jewelweed? Sounds like an oxymoron. It sure is pridddy though! I need to investigate this further. Marvellous close up,sharply focused and nicley blurred background.
Lovely colors in thus close up. Autumn is the best season of the year.
WEll I am at a loss too. Maybe if I saw a larger version, I would recognize it. We are getting a gentle rain this morning! We haven't had any in WEEKS>
I agree with B. Nice sharp image with great depth of field.
Beautiful color and technique! Good one!
Beautiful macro photograph of a weed. Some of your comments look like you have really gotten their interest.
The colors are just beautiful!
Thanks for that, it's lovely.
What a fine floral image!
Trivia: in 1955 the Packard Motor Car Company called the colors on their cars "Jewel Tones." "Louis" would like to have a Packard Caribbean in the jewel tones of White Jade, Onyx and Rose Quartz....
This really is saying Autumn! Great colours and detail.
I like the colors.
